Kenneth Harvey Abrahamson, 86, was born to Arthur and Savilla Windham Abrahamson. He was an electronics technician, having built Navy fighter aircraft at Chance Vought and later working for Southwestern Bell and ATT until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Judy Abrahamson; his parents; brothers, Norman Abrahamson (11/08/1922-11/08/1993) and Floyd Abrahamson; sister, Margie Hall; son Kenneth Wayne Abrahamson (9/13/1954-7/28/2004) and daughter, Susan Christine Doyle.
He leaves behind his son, Michael Abrahamson (Kathy) of Palestine; sister, Anna Salmon; brother-in-law, Irvin Hall: 4 grandsons, Michael Abrahamson, Paul Abrahamson, Lance Johnson and Robert Ballard; 8 great grandchildren; numerous family and lifelong friends and his beagle, Honey.
Pop loved music, especially big band and Dixieland, westerns, camping and fishing. He loved telling stories about the Army, racing cars, fishing and adventures with the Boy Scouts.
Graveside services will be at Chapel of the Air at Land of Memory Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Willmott officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.
