Beverly J. Shuta, 64, of Dickson City, died Wednesday in Mercy Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Stanley M. Shuta. They would have celebrated 44 years of marriage Oct. 3.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Casper and Anna George Justave, she was a member of St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City, and was a graduate of Dickson City High School. Before retirement, she was employed in the Inventory Control Department of Harper Collins Publishers. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister who fought a courageous battle with cancer.
Her family would like to thank the staff of the special care unit at Mercy Hospital and especially Judy Rogers.
Surviving are two daughterst; two sons; two grandsons; 4 step grandchildren; two sisters, Ann Marie and Mary Elaine Justave, both of Scranton; a nephew; and three grandnephews.
The funeral will be Monday at 9 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City, with Mass at 9:30 in St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City. Entombment, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dickson City.
