Billy Joe Reeves, 84, husband of Shirley Coda Reeves, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017. He was born on November 28, 1932 to the late Estill Reeves and Edna Elam Reeves. He is retired from Peoples Exchange Bank and from the United States Navy for over 20 years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Toni Lynn Bergquist; one son, Billy Joe Reeves Jr. (Eva); six grandchildren, Sarah, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Joshua, Rachel, Ashley Lynn; 15 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Ann; one brother, Robert Estill; and one grandson, John Reeves Bergquist.
Service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Scobee Funeral Home by Dr. Travis Drake. Burial will be at Camp Nelson. Billy's Sunday School class from Central Baptist will serve as honorary pallbearers.
