Came to the US when he was 19 years old. Married Mary Krupp in 1858. She survives him, along with the following children: Phillip, Fred and Chas. Quirin, Mrs. Mary Kaubrich of Washington county; Mrs. Agnes Mueth of Smithton, and Mrs Philippina Smith of Fayetteville. He also leaves one brother Hy. Quirin.

Son of Henry and Marg born in 1810 and 1808 in Nassau, Germany. They came to US on ship Ariel into New Orleans April 29, 1857. They brought Frederick, his brother Henry, and Frederick's future wife, Anna Marie Krupp. Ursula Quirin was also on that ship.
