KNIGHT, TROY LEON, 76, of Mt. Washington, joined his heavenly father on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at Baptist Hospital East. He was retired from General Electric after 34 1/2 years of service. Mr. Knight was an Army veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the Kings Baptist Church in Mt. Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mary Knight; two brothers, Deward and Buford Knight. Mr. Knight is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Vera Faye Knight; one son, David Knight (Sherry); two daughters, Charlene Price (David) and Arlana Hobbs (Billy); five grandchildren, Bradlee, Troy Ryan, Kaitlyn, Manecia and Makaela; one great- grandchild, Colin; three brothers, Charles, JP and Murrell Knight; and two sisters, Barbara Wilson and Jean Freeborn. His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Schmid Funeral Home in Mt. Washington. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens, also in Mt. Washington. Expressions of sympathy may go to the Gideon's International or the Kings Baptist Church.
