She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Evans Paul; and sister, Jean Ingle.
Martha graduated from Women's College (UNCG) in 1955 as a music major with a piano concentration.
She married Don Paul in June 1956. They loved each other dearly for 57 years until his death in 2013.
Martha loved gardening, bird watching and crafts. She won many ribbons for sewing in her agricultural extension club. She loved teaching children how to play piano and was still in contact with several of her students. Her favorite hobby was her grandchildren. She loved cooking for them.
A celebration of her life was held at the Guilford Park Presbyterian Church in Greensboro.
