Amy was born in Rosetown, SK. She moved up to the P.A. area in 1935. She married in September 1942 to Phillip Hayes, and they lived in Prince Albert until their deaths.
Amy is survived by her three children Sandra (Larry) Mullins of Calgary, AB, Robert (Linda) Hayes of Prince Albert, SK and Bill (Twyla) Hayes of Langham, SK; seven grandchildren Laura (Harold) Koenig, Sean Mullins, Scott (Staci) Hayes, Heather (Johann) Josephson, Ian Hayes, Matthew Hayes and Ryan Hayes; seven great grandchildren; her sister-cousin Patricia McEachern of Langley, BC; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
Amy was predeceased by her husband Phillip in 1992; her parents Violet and Claire Buchanan and her brothers Douglas and Alan Buchanan.
