He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the USMC in the South Pacific at Iwo Jima (1943-1946)
He had been a supervisor at Imperial Wallpaper Mill, retiring in 1988. He was an avid golfer and outdoorsman.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, the former Claire Raffatto; two sons, Richard (Jan) Reeves of Plattsburgh and William (Daria) Reeves of Burlington; a daughter, Cathy (James) Matthews of Beekmantown; a brother, Wayne (Sondra) Reeves, Plattsburgh; two sisters, Geri (Tony) Pellicano of Plattsburgh and Rita (Peter) Andresakis of Plattsburgh and Florida; six grandchildren. one great-grandchild.
A sister and brother-in-law Theresa and Alfred Facteau, died before him.
