Mary Ann Hargrove, age 53, of Wake Village, Texas, died Saturday, February 18, 2017 in a Dallas, Texas, hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 21, 1963 in Atlanta, Texas.

She was a homemaker and co-owner of Hargrove Motor Company, Hargrove Trucking Company, the Prissy Chrissy Ranch and the Copperwood Farms. Mary Ann was a member of First Baptist Church, Texarkana, the Coffee Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church, former Treasurer, Secretary, and Youth Leader at the Community Church in Wake Village, former President and Coordinator for the Texarkana Soccer Association. She was the former Class Coordinator for Pleasant Grove Elementary, Intermediate, Junior High and High School. She was a wonderful T-Ball, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and softball coach where she touched hundreds of lives while on the field and off the field.

She is survived by her husband of thirty two years, Rick Hargrove of Wake Village, Texas; her mother, Azell Griggs, of Texarkana, Texas; four daughters and one son-in-law: Tiffany and Cy Spangler of Texarkana, Texas; Kaytlan Hargrove of Wake Village, Texas; Presley Hargrove of Wake Village, Texas; Kynleigh Hargrove of Wake Village, Texas; two sons: Skye Hargrove of Texarkana, Texas; Lakin Hargrove of Wake Village, Texas; six brothers and three sisters-in-law: Buddy and Teresa Griggs of Atlanta, Texas; Kenneth Griggs of Texarkana, Texas; Leo and Linda Griggs of Dallas, Texas; Arthur Griggs of Dallas, Texas; Tracy and Holly Griggs of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Kathy and Larry Hollis of Atlanta, Texas; Suzanne and Leslie Terry of McLeod, Texas; three special grandchildren: London Spangler, Kora Spangler, and Kennon “Banks” Hargrove; a host of friends and other relatives.

A celebration of Mary Ann’s life will be 11:00 A. M. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at First Baptist Church, Texarkana, Texas with Rev. Larry Sims officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park
