Minnie Joe Clark Goins, age 83 of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017. She was born to the late Clyde Alfred and Frances Jane Bryson Clark in Ringgold, was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga Area and was of the Baptist Faith. She retired in 2005 from Spectrum Printing Co. after 20 plus yrs. and was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, who will be greatly missed.
Minnie was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 yrs., Olden Goins; son, Bobby Joe Williams; and brothers, Clyde Clark, Jr., Willie Clark, Jessie Clark, James Bryson, and Jay Bryson.
She is survived by her children, Donna McGhee Vandergriff of Ft. Oglethorpe, Tracy Scott of East Ridge, Jimmy (Kay) McGhee of Rock Spring, Dennis Williams of Chattanooga and Vernon (Doreen) Clark of East Ridge; sister, Nancy E. Jenkins; 19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Lakewood Memorial Gardens-South. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday and prior to leaving for the service on Tuesday. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel.
