Frank Carlson of Alta Community Called By Death
Resident of Neighborhood for Forty Years
Alta - Frank Carlson, resident of this community for the past forty years, died at his home in Alta Monday evening at the age of 61 years. He was born in Sweden, Oct. 2, 1875 and came to America in 1895, and had made his home in this community most of the time since arriving here. He is survived by his widow and nine children, all of whom reside here, and who are George, Richard, Arthur, Oscar, Ewald, Ellen, Ernest, Dorothy and Mrs. Esther Widenfeller of Merrill. There are also six grand children, and one brother, Gust, and one brother who lives in Kansas. The family lived west of town for many years, but seven years are Mr. and Mrs. Carlson moved to town. The deceased was a communicate of the Lutheran church and the funeral will be held from that organization. Mr. Carlson's illness was of four weeks duration.
