Mrs. Branch, Pioneer, Dies

Mary Lucinda Branch, a pioneer resident, died at 8:30 P.M. Friday at her home in Comanche. Death at 96, came after a long illness. Mrs. Branch suffered a stroke about two years ago. She was born Jan. 1, 1861, in Arkansas and lived what is now Stephens County since 1898.

The funeral will be at 2 P.M. today in the Comanche Church of Christ, conducted by the minister, Ernest Sanderson.

Surviving daughters are Mrs. Alice Ledford, Comanche; Mrs. Spicy Ledford, Walters; Mrs. Myrtle Bailey, Bakersfield, Calif.; Mrs. Faye Nelson, Duncan route 3, and Mrs. Lula Davenport, Orlando, Okla.

Sons surviving are Andrew Branch, Cleveland, Okla. and Grover Branch, Ringling.

Boydston Funeral Home is directing arrangements.
