Mr. Martin Scott Allen, age 51, went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 18, 2017 at his residence. He was born in South Charleston, WV, had lived in Millen most of his life, was a U. S. Army veteran, a Waste Water Treatment Operator for Milliken Co., and was a member of Deep Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a. m. Wednesday at West Millen Baptist Church with Revs. Andy Allen and Butch Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.
Survivors include his brother, Andy (Stacy) Allen of Millen; Nephews, Mike (Anna) Allen and Drew Allen; niece, Sabrina Allen; great niece, Eden Allen; and a special Uncle and Aunt, Bob and Joann Tucker.
Active Pallbearers will be Doug Strickland, John Weathersby, Lester Brinson Jr., Steve Brinson, Danny Brinson, Drew Allen, Donnie Williams and Matt Brinson.
