RUPERT - Myrtle Louise (Olson) Allen, long time beloved Rupert resident passed away on Valentines Day, February 14, 2017 in Rupert, Idaho.
Born in Rupert on October 29, 1929 to Ellis and Edna Olson. Olson's raised sheep in the area, and Louise had her collection which still adorn her home.
She married K. Glen Allen in Rupert, Idaho in December of 1948. They celebrated 68 years of marriage this past December. She was very active with her friends and family. They all skied and golfed. She played cards with club and they enjoyed traveling and spending time together.
If you ever went to Goodman's Law offices you might know Louise as she was a fixture there for many, many years. She always took special care with how she looked and her home was immaculate.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her six siblings, Jay, Katherine, Faye, Elvin, Lamar and Larry.
She is survived by her caring, loving husband Glen; her son Dale Hayden and his wife Kolleen, her grandson James J Hayden and his wife Ashley and two great granddaughters Abigail and Annabelle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews on both sides of the family, all who loved her dearly.
Family and friends will meet on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the Rupert 7th Ward, 324 East 18th in Rupert, for the family prayer and brief remembrance. Following the family prayer, the graveside service will be held for all at the Rupert Cemetery, 50 West 400 North (Meridian), Rupert, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, please make a small donation to the Minidoka County Museum in her name.
We will all miss Louise very much.
