Robert Lantz, of Syracuse, IN, passed away on June 22, 2021 at his home. He was born on October 27, 1927 in Goshen, IN to Homer & Dola (Long) Lantz. He was a WWII US Navy Veteran. On November 24, 1948 he married June Hummel who preceded him in 2014. He retired from Liberty homes after 41 years of service in 1989. He is survived by his son – Michael (Ausra) Lantz of Port St. Lucie, FL. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Along with his wife June, he was preceded by his 2 brothers – Charles and Lloyd, and 2 sisters Sharon and Mabel. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 4-8 PM at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 11 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Packer officiating. Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery.
