EUPORA - Myrtle Ruth Atkins, 84, died Jan. 16, 2007, at North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo. Services are Friday at 10 a.m. at Wise Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora with the Rev. Don Parish officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Webster County. Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Atkins was born Jan. 14, 1923. She had worked as a nurse at Webster General Hospital for 16 years and was a member of Tomnolen Baptist Church in Webster County. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Orr of Meridian; sons, Larry and David Atkins, both of Eupora; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
