Linda Page Shover Burke was born January 5, 1921 in Baltimore, MD. Linda died on February 16, 2017, in Pensacola, FL of a massive heart-attack.
Over 70 years ago she began her journey of helping those in need, that was her passion in life. These are a few of the programs Linda helped: Council on Aging, Elder Affairs,
Garden Club, Goodie by the Oldies, Home Crafters, NARFE Alzheimer's, RSVP and
Woman's Club
She is survived by her son, Jac Burke; daughter, Roberta Benson as well as 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South beginning at 11:30 a.m. with funeral service at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME SOUTH, 100 Beverly Pkwy, is handling arrangements.
