She was born October 27, 1938 in Vallejo, California, to Lawrence and Myra Noake McDill. Carol resided in California until moving to Blackfoot in 2005. She attended Hayward High School in California.
On August 16, 1975, Carol married Garold Dent in Reno, Nevada. He preceded her in death in May 2006.
In her younger years she participated in dog shows, showing collies. One of her collies beat out Lassie at one of the shows.
Carol worked as a manager at Taco Bell, as a file clerk at a government agency and a homemaker.
Carol is an avid animal lover and she loved caring for her kittens. She enjoyed building puzzles, being outdoors and taking her camper out camping.
She is survived by her children: Margo Geofroy of Rhode Island, Jeff (Leeann) Masengale of Oklahoma and James (Amber) Mason of Blackfoot; a brother, Ralph McDill of California and one grandchild, and one step grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garold Dent, her parents and one brother, Raymond McDill.
