William Pinckney, Jr.was the son of William Pinckney, Sr. and Permelia Jane Thomas Best. and per census records they had the following children: Celia Elizabeth,, Thomas Alexander, William A., Minerva Ophelia , Erastus E., Jane Permelia and Albert Pinckney. Mother Jane T. Best died 12/27/1885. William Pinckey later married Sarah L. Meles, estd 1886. They had the following five children: Lettie Rae, Henry Harrison, Archie Jackson, Herman Leland and Ervin Elwood. Sarah died at age 28 in 1897.
