He was the son of former residents of Chillicothe Benjamin Fell and Bertha French Beazell and his father had been a postmaster of the Chillicothe post office for a number of years. David Beazell spent his school and college years in Chillicothe and was appointed to a government post in Washington, D.C., where he made his home with his wife, Mary Ruth.
He is survived by his wife; a sister, Mary Beazell Freeman of Missoula, Mont.; an aunt, Maude Beazell Hooper of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.
