She was an employee of Indianapolis Public Library. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Thomas Stroud. She is survived by one daughter, Marilynn R. Allen - Newburgh, one son, Thomas R. Stroud of Richmond VA, 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday February 26, 2017 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Her funeral will be Monday, February 27 at 11 a.m. at McAdams Mortuary. Burial will take place Valeene Christian Church Cemetery.
