Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Friday, August 16, 1996 at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Douglas Osborn officiating. Entombment to follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home after 7PM Wednesday evening, suggested visiting hours of 12-3PM and 6-9PM. A prayer service will be held 7PM Thursday at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made the St. John Vianney Church Memorial Fund or McLaren Hospice.
Ann was born in N. Battleford-Saskatchewan, Canada on September 28, 1920 and had lived in Flint since 1949, coming from London, Ontario.
Ann married John E. Taylor on August 30, 1941 in N. Battleford, Canada and they had celebrated 53 years of marriage before his death August 22, 1994.
She was a member of St. John Vianney Church. Worked as a clerk and switchboard operator at the YWCA for over 20 years, retiring in 1980.
Surviving are: 2 daughters, Sharon Welch of Flint, Cheryl Respecki and husband Jerry of Flushing; 3 sons, Derek Taylor and wife Tula of Essexville, MI, Neil Taylor at home, Rodney Taylor and wife Gaynor of Owosso, MI; 3 grandsons, Steven Welch and wife Christine of Flint, Zachary Respecki of Flushing, Travis Taylor of Essexville; granddaughter, Madyson Taylor of Owosso; 2 great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Joshua Welch; brother, Adam Macht; 4 sisters, Mary Reiter, Genevieve Ferguson, Katherina Macht and Madaline Lunghamer, all of Canada; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Anne was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
