Maurice (Mese) P. Clark, Jr. age 85 went to meet Heavenly Father on February 17, 2017. He passed peacefully surrounded by his family.

Born October 25, 1931 in Havre, MT to Maurice and Ann F. O'Neil Clark. He graduated from Great Falls High School in 1949. He attended the College of Great Falls studying accounting and joined the Montana Air National Guard, he was activated to the US Air Force from 1951-52, he was stationed in Georgia, Wyoming and California. He married Patricia G. Myers on January 26, 1952, at St. Ann's Cathedral in Great Falls, MT. While attending college, Mese worked for Pat's father T.F. Myers Oil Company. He was hired graduation night by his college professor, Ward Junkermier, as a CPA. In 1958, Bill Artz and Mese established the firm Artz & Clark which became Artz, Clark, and Stevens in 1965. This firm merged again and became Junkermier, Clark, Campanella, Stevens PC in 1974. He later went into private practice and continued as a CPA, Finacial Planner and a Qualified Intermediary for Section 1031 real estate tax exchanges. Mese was active in many professional and civic positions including State President of the Montana Society of CPAs, Great Falls Chapter of CPAs, Cascade County Estate Planning Council, Optimist Club Of Great Falls, Rainbow Toastmaster, and on the board of many task forces and community endeavors.

Mese is survived by: his wife of 65 years, Pat; 6 children Mark (Tammy) Clark, St. George, UT, Dennis (Debbie) Clark, Spokane, WA, KC (Kathi) Clark, Helena, MT, Kevin (Paula) Clark, Great Falls, MT, Mary Kelli (Ken) Taylor, Longmont, CO and Trudi (John) Cochrane, Boise, ID; his sister Cecelia (Charles) Kimble, of McLean, VA; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his son Steven J. Clark and daughter-in-law Susan Falk Clark in 2013.

Mese skied for over 60+ years and enjoyed golf, travel and his family and friends. Mese and Pat enjoyed many years of retirement in St. George, UT.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Southern Utah Veterans Home in Ivins, UT on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM.

Mese will be buried in Great Falls.
