Rex Taylor, age 52, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Tuesday, February 7, 2017. He was an electrician.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Darlene Taylor of Bay Minette, AL; his children, Devin Wayne Stewart, David (Christy) Stewart and Kristie (Chris) Hadley all of Rabun; three brothers, Justin (Beth) Taylor of Mobile, AL, Danny Ray (Flossie) Taylor of Rabun and Jess (Pearl) Taylor of Poarch; seven grandchildren, Hunter Stewart, Brandon (Kaeylarae) Stewart, Alexis Stewart, Whitney Hadley, Madison Hadley and Amber Lynn Hadley and one great granddaughter, Blakelyn Hadley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John William and Christine Hadley Taylor; one brother, John Michael Taylor and a sister Barbara Ann Taylor.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Fretwell Tabernacle Church with Sister Helen Stewart and Reverend Wendell Hadley officiating. Burial will follow at Dean Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 10, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be David Stewart, Tyler Burr, Chris Hadley, Wayne Presley, Bert Joiner and Rayford Tuberville.
