Donna Kay (Middleton) Hudson Riley, 73 of St. Petersburg, Fla., originally from Ashland, Boyd Co., Ky. went home to be with the Lord following a short, sudden illness due to her Leukemia remission. She was a devoted wife Pastor Curtis Martin Riley prior to his passing in 2009.
She was a loving mother and Grandmother, beloved by her family and friends all across the country.
Throughout her life, Donna was active in the Methodist Church, serving as a youth leader and later as Pastor's wife. She was also a passionate and vocal Democrat, an advocate for the less fortunate and equal rights for all and a supporter of animal rights.
Donna was a strong fighter, a bright and beautiful and funny lady. She had a golden soul, and was beautiful inside and out.
Donna was born on May 23, 1943 in Ashland, Boyd Co,. Ky. and was a daughter of the late Charles Middleton.
She was proceeded in death by her two husbands, a younger brother, plus Aunts and Uncles.
Survivors include: Her Mother, Bonnie Sue (Hogan) Middleton Bender of St. Petersburg, Fl.,
Three daughters, Kimberly (Alessandro) Menozzi of Reggio, Emilia, Italy; Lisa (Michael) Herbst of Port St. Lucie, Fl., Lisa Riley of Summit, Ky.
Two sons, Chris Hudson (Michelle) of Flatwoods, Ky.,
John and Amber Riley of Columbus, Ohio.
One sister, Patricia (Middleton) Adams, of Florida:,
one brother, Don Middleton (Jacqueline) of St. Petersburg, Fl.
Her Grandchildren: Audrey Mefford, Charlie Hudson, Kelsey and Jordan Herbst, Brooke and Nikki Gee, Beau, Ava Griffin and Scarlett Riley.
Numerous Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Special Friends.
A memorial service will be held on Feb. 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at East Fork United Methodist Church in Rush, Ky. where the family will receive friends.
Burial will be at Ross Cemetery in Rush, Ky. as Donna is put to rest beside her loving husband of 30 plus years, the Rev. Curtis Martin Riley.
