Born to Halford and Glenna M. Griffith Norcross, John married Doris Ann Wilson on Dec. 15, 1945, in Bushnell. She survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Elaine Miles, John Neubauer and Nancy Kobald; and three grandchildren.

A World War II Army veteran, he was employed for 50 years as an engineer at Vaughn & Bushnell Manufacturing Co. He was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association, Early V-8 Ford Motor Club and the Vintage Thunderbird Club of America.
