Ivan Earl Johnson, 82, of Georgetown, died Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Tidelands Community Hospice House in Georgetown, South Carolina.
Mr. Johnson was born March 17th, 1934, in Decaturville Tennessee, a son of the late Val Johnson and the late Stella Mae Tucker Johnson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Elizabeth Lambert Johnson, and a son, Stanley Harland Johnson.
He served two years in the United States Navy. He retired from International Paper Company after 38 years of service.
He was survived by seven children, Jeffery Johnson (Dianne), Barry Johnson (Kathy) of Summerville, Casey Johnson (Stacy), Darrin Johnson, Jason Johnson, Kelvin Johnson, and Angie Johnson and a number of grandchildren.
Services were privat.
Burroughs Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Murrells Inlet was in charge.
