Born to Arthur Baxter Jr. & Cloteine E. (Hatcher) Bartley. She graduated from Butler High School in 1959 then went on to nursing school becoming a RN.She married Leroy D. Williams August 31, 1967 Kansas City, Jackson, MO but it didn't last. She married Jimmy Wayne Settles December 16, 1976 Kansas City, Jackson, MO but problems developed and they divorced. However, they married again July 16, 1981 Butler, Bates, MO.

Lin is survived by two nieces, Elizabeth Logan of Clinton, MO and Mary Steinshouer and husband Terry of Downs, KS; one nephew, August Ray Fassler and wife Colleen of Washington, MO; and special friend Mickey Roberts and husband Gary of Butler, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Barbara Fassler just last month (Jan. 22nd).

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler, MO. Contributions to Hospice of Choice or Baptist Children's Home.. Services under the direction of the Schowengerdt Funeral Home (660-679-6555) in Butler, MO.
