Paul C. Ballard passed away Friday, Feb. 3, 2017. Paul was born in Hamilton Ohio on Oct. 23, 1924 to Mac Dow and Pauling Fehlinger Ballard. Paul graduated from Hamilton Catholic High School in 1942. He joined the Army Air Corp in 1942 for World War II. He and Faye would have been married 61 years in June. He retired from Champion Paper in 1985 after 40 years. Paul was a member at Baywood Country Club for over 50 years and enjoyed playing golf. He enjoyed most sports and played most of them in his youth. He coached the Champion’s champion paper softball team for several years. He is survived by his wife Fayetta H. Ballard, his son Kevin Ballard, daughter Cynthia Campbell, two granddaughters Lauren Campbell-Goleman and Stephanie Gracie, and five great grandchildren; Scarlette, Aaliyah, Duncan , Lincoln and Sebastian . One nephew Bill Ballard, four nieces, Mary Ballard, Paula Shockley, Gwen Brantley and Shawn Gremillion. And five great nephews John Padgett, Brett, Charles, Daniel and Mathew Ballard (who was his Godson). Sister-in-law Weigelia Gremillion. He will be missed and always loved. Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, February 10, 2017 in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors. Family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until service time. Private interment Houston National Cemetery.
