Loved Star Wars and video games!∼Jamie Paul Nelson, Lawton, was born March 21, 1974 in Fort Sill, OK to Kenneth and Vivian Nelson. He passed away at OU Medical Center on May 4, 2016 at the age of 42. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 4-6pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 at 2:00pm at Grace Fellowship, 5333 NW Liberty Ave, Lawton. Arrangements are under direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service.
Jamie was a family man who loved all his children unconditionally. He married Crystal Bo, the love of his life, on April 18, 2015. For the last three years he was employed by Braum's; prior to that he was employed by the Lawton Housing Authority. He enjoyed collecting and trading sports cards and memorabilia. He was an avid Star Wars fan which included Bobafett as his favorite character. He enjoyed gaming and loved spending time with his family. Jamie was an organ donor and gave the gift of life to a few people after his passing. He had a heart of gold. He was loved by everyone and will be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Paul Nelson; paternal grandparents; maternal grandparents; and his beloved aunt and uncle, Fran and Warren Hall.
