Mrs. Walker, born in South Hill, VA; was the daughter of the late Claude Powell and Louella Jones Powell and the widow of first husband, John Henry Taylor. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Nathaniel, John "Hewey", Cletho "Chunky" and James "Dickie".
