Mary Carrillo De Leon, 71, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017. She was an amazing cook; her enchiladas were craved by every daughter, son, and grandchild on every birthday and holiday. There was not a day that went by that she did not show her family and friends love. Looking back at her life it seems that was all she knew. Their marriage was a model to all families and couples, a true example of commitment through hardships and struggles. She was always willing to help in any way she could. Not a belly went hungry or a bruise un-kissed. She strived to be at every baseball game, spelling bee and graduation.
Mary had a huge family who was there for her to say goodbye in her final moments. She will always be remembered as a compassionate daughter, a loving wife, a wonderful sister-in-law, a caring aunt, supportive grandmother, a dedicated great grandmother, a kindhearted friend, and a horrible driver.
Mary is preceded in death by her father, Paulo Carrillo Sr. and her brother, Joe Carrillo.
Survivors: Husband of 55 years, Henry De Leon, mother, Benita Molina Carrillo; children, Annette and Jon Curry, Brenda and Joe Cervantez and Dean De Leon; grandchildren, Tiffany Cervantez, Lacie Curry, Crystal De Leon, Joseph and Becky Cervantez, Antonia Curry, Drake and Harley De Leon, Jake and Brianda Curry and Cameron Curry; great-grandchildren, Guiliana Cervantez, Xavier Cervantez, Allyiah De Leon, Vincent Cervantez and Antonia Curry; sisters, Chris and Epifanio Gaspar, Hope and Joe Granado, Irma and Freddy Carreon, Laura and Rodney Tankersley, Stella and Alex Garcia and Sue Barrera; and brothers, Paul and Rosemary Carrillo, Hoss and MaryGrace Carrillo, Julio and Saralyn Carrillo, Ernie and Diane Carrillo and Tim and Sharon Carrillo.
