While working on her degrees at MSU, Pat met and married Dr. Dencil R. Taylor. They spent 37 wonderful years together until his death in 2011. Together they traveled with his debate teams and to his speaking engagements.

Left to cherish her memories are; son, Bill Higgins (Martha, Alexandria, La.); daughter, Marion Anson-Prchal (John, Wichita Falls); cherished grandson, Taylor Anson (Wichita Falls).
