James Al "Stumpie" Abraham died on Sunday, February 12th at his residence after an illness. James was born on October 23, 1947 in Freeport Long Island, NY to Scipio "Red" and Isanora "Yuther" Kelly Abraham. He is a 1965 graduate of Wilson High School. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, in which he toured Germany and fought in the Vietnam War. He was formerly employed at Bowling Airforce Base, National Gallery of Art, and the Department of Commerce. Later, he became the owner/operator of his own trucking company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Andrea Lashawn Abraham and his sibling, Noville Abraham Brockington.
