Rebecca Sue "Songbird" Brooks, 62, of Evansville, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born June 8, 1954, in Evansville.

She loved her grandchildren and music.

Rebecca is survived by her mother, Charlene Chapman; daughter, Sheila Hofmann; son, Robbie (Maria) Hofmann; six grandchildren; brothers, Billy and Kenny Chapman; sisters, Darla Taylor and Leesa Mays; aunt, Anita Kissel; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
