James W. Kohler passed away on February 16, 2017, at the age of 68. He is the husband of Wanda Kohler nee Blair. He is survived by his daughter, Amy (Mike) Fridley; son, Michael Kohler; two brothers, John Kohler and Jerry (Jackie) Kohler; two sisters, JoAnn (Bob) Post and Jane Adelmann; four grandchildren, Justin, Vika, Luke and Lindsey. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Michael Kohler and Elsie Marie Kohler nee Bechtold. James was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in O'Fallon, Missouri. He enjoyed baseball, basketball and was an avid player of Dartball. He was an active farmer and pork producer. James was the owner of M&J Construction in Defiance, Missouri.
