His daughter, Marion Kraus Mann, said her father never knew his correct birthdate.
Birth record shows Joseph Kraus, all other records shows George.
He is the 7th child of Charles "Carl" Kraus and Caroline Kramer Kraus, which shows on his birth certificate.
