Mrs. Doris M. Rush, age 83, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family and under the care of hospice. The Columbus, GA native had lived in Hardeeville, SC for many years before moving to Tattnall County forty three years ago. She was a homemaker that loved to do crocheting. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was the one in the family that you could call and she would be there for you. She was a member of the Glennville United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Rush and her sisters, Bernice Rogers and Eunice Rogers.

She is survived by her children, Jimmy Wagers of Kingsland, Patricia Floyd of Ludowici, Janet Counts of Bluffton, and Bland Wagers of Reidsville; siblings, Fred Merritt of Richmond Hill and Eloise Floyd of Pembroke; seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at the Glennville City Cemetery on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 3:00 p.m.
