Dorothy M. Sutton Champagne passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. She was 90, a native and resident of Reserve. Beloved wife of Clarence J. Champagne. Mother of Terry M. Champagne (Mary Ann), Carolyn Heffner (Steve) and Barbara Duhe (Late, Robert). Daughter of the late Lolita Weber Sutton and Oliver Sutton, Sr. Sister of Leonard Sutton, Raymond Sutton, Philip Sutton, Ethel Champagne, Lois Faucheaux, Patricia Martin, Blanche Brady and the late Gary Sutton, Oliver Sutton Jr., Norman Sutton and Ruth Bourgeois. Also survived by 5 grandchildren Richie, Karen, Jason, Melissa and Mike. 6 great-grandchildren Joshua Tiffany, Nathan, Peyton, Brock and Kimber. She was also preceded in death by 2 great grandchildren Destiny and Nicholas and 1 great great grandchild Adaya. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral. Service at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Hwy., LaPlace on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. Visitation from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Interment in St. Peter Cemetery.
