Marjorie Alice Achong, 69, a resident of Topeka, Kansas, since 2012, was called to her eternal rest on Friday, February 10, 2017. Marge was born March 9, 1947 to Carl and Bernice Drew in Downers Grove, Illinois. She later moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she eventually met and married her husband, Robert Achong. Together they have two children, son Robert Drew Achong of Independence, Kansas, and daughter Tamara Uilani Goltz of Topeka, Kansas.

Marge was actively involved in various choral and quilting ministries in Albuquerque, Tucson, Arizona and Topeka.

She is survived by her sister, Laurel Drew of Albuquerque, husband, Bob Achong of Topeka, son Drew, and daughter Tami, as well as grandchildren Sierra Griffus-Goltz, Kai Hauser, Lucas Goltz, Kristina Achong, and Kale a Achong.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Friday, February 17, 2017, at Faith Lutheran Church, 1716 SW Gage Boulevard, Topeka, KS 66604. Her ashes will be interred at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum. Memorials can be made to the choir and quilting ministries of Faith Lutheran Church, Topeka, Kansas.
