OBITUARY :
MRS. CARRIE REBECCA SMALL, 94, died today at her home in Marion after an illness of three days.

She was born January 17, 1866, near New Franklin, daughter of Adam and Margaret (Phillipy) Vanderau.

She was a member of Solomon's United Church of Christ, Grindstone Hill, and the widow of Henry W. Small who died in 1930.

Surviving are one son, Charles I. Small, Chambersburg R. D. 5, and four daughters: Miss Carrie Small and Miss Thelma Small, both at home; Mrs. D. E. Witherspoon, Chambersburg R. D. 5, and Mrs. Mary Hovis, Chambersburg; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. May Shatzer, Smithsburg, Md.; Mrs. Grace Elliott, Chambersburg, R. D. 1, and one brother, Ernest Vanderau, Smithsburg.

Services are set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Sellers Funeral Home, Chambersburg, with the Rev. Donald R. Moul and the Rev. Dr. J. C. Sanders officiating.

Interment will take place at Norland Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
