Sharon Sue (Tucker) Giles
Sharon Sue (Tucker) Giles, 75, passed away from this life, Monday, March 17, 2014. She was born January 13, 1939 to parents, Clyde Sedail Tucker and Addie Zelma (Cox) Tucker in Mena, AR. She was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Thomas William Tucker, Ernest Earl Tucker; sister, Melinda Lou (Tucker Azlin); and brother, Gary Don Tucker. She is survived by her loving husband, Tom R. Giles; daughter, Teri R. Laux and husband, Darryl T. Laux; and grandson, Michael T. Laux; daughter, Kimberly S. Agent and Chris Cervantes; grandsons, Tommy James Agent, Jason Lee Agent and Dustin Wyatt Tibbens. She is also survived by: her brother, Herman Lee Tucker and brother, Clyde Tucker and wife, Barbara. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and many cousins. Sharon worked at OTASCO stores as Assistant Manager and as Deli Manager at Safeway stores. She was also the Concessions Director at the Performing Arts Center for several years, retiring in 2008. Sharon’s family moved to Heavener, OK early in her life before moving to Wewoka, OK, where she attended grade school and high school, receiving several awards singing solos at choir functions around the state and was very active in the Methodist church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Friday and Funeral Service 10 a.m., Saturday, both at Moore’s Southlawn Funeral Home Chapel.
