Lacy was raised in California and Missouri. She graduated from Mountain Grove High School with the class of 1945. She was saved and baptized at an early age. As a young girl, Lacy loved to sing and play the accordion.
On December 8, 1946, Lacy and Roy Harrison were united in marriage in Wright County, Missouri. Three sons, Dwayne, Larry, and Gary, were born to this union. Lacy was a homemaker and she worked beside Roy on the dairy farm. She enjoyed her flower gardens and canning the harvests from her vegetable gardens. She was a quilter and made quilts for her children, grandchildren, and many married couples in the area.
Besides her parents, Lacy was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, and by her sister, Wilma Clark.
She is survived by three sons: Dwayne Harrison and his wife, Sharon, of Branson, Missouri, Larry Harrison and his wife, Inez, and Gary Harrison and his wife, Diana, all of Mountain Grove, Missouri; ten grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren; three nieces: Shirley Barnett, Carolyn Lombard, and Patty Herbert and her husband, Jon; and many other relatives and friends who will greatly miss her.
