His death certificate has his father, Francis Marion Rembert was born in Hinds Co., MS and his mother, Elizabeth Virginia Patrick was born in Copiah Co., MS. It indicates he was a banker, merchant and capitalist.

Frank married Kate Womack on 5 Dec 1878, and they are on the 1880 Longview, Gregg Co., TX census. His biography, found in the Longview Public Library, indicates Frank and Kate had two children. The 1900 Longview census shows that Kate was the mother of two children and had zero living children.

His obit has he was director and secretary-treasurer of the Texas and Gulf Railway, banker and merchant who rose from a railway clerk's position to accumulate a considerable fortune.

The board of directors of Rembert National Bank of Longview ran a memoriam honoring the late Frank Taylor Rembert in the 16 Jun 1926 issue of the "Longview News-Journal". The memoriam has his position was member and vice present.

Funeral services were held at the home on Fredonia street yesterday afternoon at 4:00, followed by placing of the mortal remains of Frank Taylor Rembert, pioneer businessman of Longview, in the mausoleum in Greenwood cemetery.
