WATERLOO - Rose M. Ciancaglini, 95, passed away peacefully on Saturday (February 4, 2017), at Geneva General Hospital.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday (February 8, 2017) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St., Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday (February 9, 2017) in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, with full military honors.

Rose was born on May 28, 1921 in Waterloo, and was a daughter of the late Anthony and Nellie (LeGott) Laquitara. She worked as a manager at Agway and retired after several years. Rose served her country and was a veteran of the Women's Army Corp. during WWII. She was a member of the American Legion Post 435 in Waterloo, Catholic Daughters of America, the Moose Club in Fla., and Our Lady of Peace Parish.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Ciancaglini, Jr. of Waterloo; son, Joseph A. Ciancaglini III of Waterloo; daughter-in-law, Joan Fili of Geneva; sister, Margaret (Peter) Zeoli of Geneva; sisters-in-law Irene Laquitara of Border City, Marie Laquitara of Geneva and Viola Ciancaglini of Geneva; brother-in-law, Sully (Gloria) Ciancaglini; granddaughter, Alissa Ciancaglini of Seneca Falls; several nieces and nephews.

Rose was predeceased by her brothers William Laquitara, Joseph Laquitara, Anthony Farlo and James Farlo; sister, Catherine Lehman.
