Charles Crabb was born in Arizona, a son of Charles Crabb and Emilie A. Giese. He had a sister Lorna 1895-1905.

By 1900 his father had died and the family was living with his mother's mother, also a widow, Ettila/Otillie Geise and her sister Ida, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They were still living with her in 1910 and 1920, although his sister had died in 1905.

He was a World War I Navy veteran, serving from 1918-21.

Charles married Marjorie Annabel Oviatt. They apparently did not have children.

They lived in Shorewood, Wisconsin during 1935-40's where he was a Sales Promotion Manager.

He became the manager of the Industry division, Milwaukee Association of Commerce. in 1946, a position he held until 1959. In 1964 he was vice-president of Executive and Technical Services, Inc. in Milwaukee. By 1965 he was staff consultant for the Wisconsin Industrial Research Council. He was also a past President of the American Industrial Development Council.

They retired to Sun City, Arizona and later moved to Tempe.

He was survived by his wife Marjorie.
