Grace Catherine Campbell, 96, of Shakespeare, passed away peacefully at Cedarcroft Place, Stratford, with family by her side, on Sunday, April 9, 2017. She was born in North Easthope Township, Perth County on November 28, 1920 a daughter of the late David and Catherine (Cook) Hyde.

She was a member of Shakespeare Presbyterian Church, a member of the former St. Andrew's Women's Missionary Society for over 40 years and a member of Shakespeare Presbyterian Ladies Aid. She received great pleasure from the hours she spent quilting.

She married Kenneth Daniel Campbell at Shakespeare on January 22, 1938. He died on March 11, 2002. Grace is survived by four children, Marion Faull and friend Bill Gerber of Stratford; Jean Stere of Tavistock; Donald and wife Connie Campbell of Stratford; Heather Campbell and husband Tim Stackhouse of Embro; her daughter-in-law, Darlene Swartzentruber and husband, Brian of Tavistock; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; six great- great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and their families.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son, David Campbell (1978); her grandson, Jarrod Campbell (1979); brothers and sisters-in-law, Ross and Anna Hyde, Robert and Doris Hyde; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mabel and Kenneth Fink, Jean and Jack Fryfogel and several "Campbell" brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock on Wednesday. The funeral service will be held in Shakespeare Presbyterian Church on Thursday, April 13, 2017. Interment in St. Andrew's Cemetery, North Easthope. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Andrew's Cemetery, North Easthope or Shakespeare Presbyterian Church would be appreciated and may be made through the Francis Funeral Home.
