Beth Pinter, 65, of Spring Valley died Feb. 12, 2017 at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

A prayer service will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Barto Funeral Home, Spring Valley, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church (St. Anthony building on Mautino Drive). The Rev. Ronald Margherio O.S.B. will officiate. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, as well as 9- 9:30 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
Beth was born Dec. 18, 1951, in Spring Valley to Robert and Mary (Hall) Alpaugh. She married Gary Pinter on April 22, 1972, in St. Anthony Catholic Church in Spring Valley.
Beth was a graduate of Hall High School, class of 1969, as well as the nursing program at Illinois Valley Community College. Beth was a registered nurse working in home health, and she retired from the pediatric department at IVCH. Beth was a member of the 700 Club, was a devout Christian, and she loved her family.
She is survived by her husband, Gary of Spring Valley; her two daughters, Deanna (Jeff) Grove of La Salle and Amanda (Joe) Coutts of Ladd; two sons, Gary (Heather) Pinter of Godfrey and Craig (Jacqi) Pinter of Montgomery, Minn.; nine grandchildren, Chase, Tristan, Addison, Taylor, Grace, Kaitlyn, Colin, Ember and Abigail; two sisters, Patricia DeMoss of Oklahoma and Mary Lu Hamilton of Manitoba, Canada; her brother Bill (Susan) Alpaugh of Minnetonka, Minn.; and her uncle, Bill Alpaugh of Spring Valley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Alpaugh.
