Mary Louise Muzyka, 87, of Hamden, died September 7, 2015, at CT Hospice. Mary was born December 20, 1927 in Columbus, OH to Edward & Minnie Bostwick Courtright and was married in 1944, to the late Stephen Muzyka in New Haven. Together they had four children, Michael Muzyka, Barbara Spinnato (Paul), Stephanie Muzyka, & Steven Muzyka (CherylAnn). She also had 7 grandchildren, 2 great grand-children, 3 step-great-grandchildren, & one great grandchild to arrive in October. She is survived by two brothers, Edward & Lawrence Courtright; sister-in-law, Helen Courtright; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Courtright & sister, Nettie Sprague. Mary attended the Colombus, OH school system and worked at Chloride in North Haven until their closing. She enjoyed her family and friends and entertaining in her home.
Friends are invited to visit with her family on Friday, September 11th from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden followed by her Funeral Service in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in All Saints Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be sent to the Alzheimer's Assocaition, 200 Executive Boulevard, Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489.
