She had siblings Cecil Garland 1909–1995, Hazel Ione 1911–2002, Nannie Belle 1913–2005, John Franklin 1915–2004, Lee Pitman 1917–2006, Dora Bertie 1919–1970, Arlie Corrine 1921–2008, Bertha Nadine 1923–2012, Oliver Wayne 1925–2010, Harold Everett 1927–2016 and Bobbie Sue 1929–2006.
Her family lived in Sterling county, Texas in 1920 and Lubbock county in 1930 and were farmers.
Hazel married Raymond Howard Cox 1911-1993. They had children Gordon Ray 1930-2005 and Donald Glen 1933-?.
In 1940 they lived in Roswell, New Mexico where Raymond was the owner/operator of an auto repair shop for 52 years.
Hazel and Raymond moved to Sun City, Arizona.
Hazel was survived by two sons, Gordon R. of Sun City and Donald G. of California; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
